Healing Lodge of the Seven Nations

The Healing Lodge of the Seven Nations is a licensed, 45-bed adolescent treatment center located in Spokane Valley, Washington. The facility serves male and female youth ages 13–17 who are experiencing substance use disorders, mental health conditions, behavioral concerns, or co-occurring disorders. Its residential program provides intensive treatment based on ASAM Level 3.5 criteria.

Residential treatment generally lasts approximately 90 to 120 days, depending on each adolescent’s clinical needs. Care combines substance use disorder counseling, mental health treatment, medical support, trauma-informed services, education, cultural programming, expressive arts, physical activity, nutrition, and individualized recovery planning. Residents can continue earning middle- or high-school credits through the facility’s accredited on-campus school or prepare for a GED.

The program is Indigenous-focused and incorporates traditional, cultural, and spiritual values into treatment. Although it was created to address the needs of Native youth and their families, its residential services are available to both Native and non-Native adolescents. The Healing Lodge also works with families, tribal health programs, juvenile courts, child welfare agencies, and other referral partners.

The Healing Lodge is accredited by both CARF International and The Joint Commission. Its Family & Wellness Health Clinic also provides outpatient mental health services, substance use disorder counseling, and primary medical care.
