Empower Your Future with Our Scholarships

Are you or a loved one pursuing education while overcoming the challenges of addiction? Our scholarships are here to support your journey. Apply today to receive financial assistance and take a step towards a brighter future. We’re committed to helping you succeed and thrive.

Our goal is to help in your process.

The intent of the sober living scholarship program is to bridge the critical gap between residential treatment and early recovery. Transitional sober living offers many benefits to people recovering from addiction and is key to successful long-term recovery. Sober living facilities provide a safe, structured, healthy living environment to continue to work on what has been learned in treatment and build upon sobriety while offering much-needed peer support.

We provide scholarships to selected individuals in our community who are engaged in recovery. Money raised through donations and fundraising helps us offer scholarships for sober living home costs. Due to restricted funds, the Foundation limits scholarships to one month rent per individual per year. Scholarship requests should be made in advance of the month the request is needed but no later than the 6th day of that month. (Example: if requesting scholarship for January – request should be made in December but no later than January 6).

Candidates must be motivated and committed to their recovery from their substance use disorder. Individuals will be assessed by the Foundation team based on several criteria and may also ask to speak to a case manager.  Criteria includes but is not limited to:

  • Completion of Treatment: Candidates need to have completed a residential treatment program and be transitioning to sober living.
  • Commitment to Recovery: Candidates need to demonstrate a serious commitment to their recovery, such as actively participating in a 12-step program and having a sponsor.
  • Financial Need: The primary purpose of the scholarship program is to assist those who cannot afford sober living costs on their own.
  • Employment or Job Search: Candidates need to be committed to actively seeking employment.
  • Willingness to Follow Rules: Candidates must be willing to comply with the rules and structure of the sober living home, including attending meetings, agreeing to drug testing, etc.

These criteria help ensure that the scholarships are awarded to individuals who are most likely to benefit from the support and are committed to maintaining their sobriety.
